Welcome to our nursery Parents Hub, our dedicated space for everything you’ll need during your time with us.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

All our nurseries follow the EYFS revised statutory framework for the early year’s foundation stage as approved by the department of education. This is setting the standards for learning, development and care for children 2 to 5 years of age.

Ofsted are our governing body and our registration number is RP55377

Yes we are registered with all childcare vouchers

On your registration forms you can list those that are authorised to collect your child at any time. If someone needs to collect your child unexpectedly then this is okay as long as the office are informed and the person collecting has the password in which you created upon your child starting the setting

You can get daily information from the family app regarding sleep, food etc and things in which your child has been getting up to in the day. You can also see all observations and development on the app. We also hold regular parents weeks where you can book a one to one appointment with your keyworker to discuss your childs development

If you collect your child late there will be a late fee charge added onto next months bill

You can pay for a school lunch or bring a packed lunch. For wraparound care we provide a teatime snack at an additional cost or you can pop a snack in your childs bag

We work with each family as individuals. If you feel your child is ready then we work with you to what you are doing at home. Likewise if we feel your child is ready then we will discuss this and work out a plan of action with parents.

You will need to let the setting know if your child will not be attending in accordance to our safeguarding and absence policy.

We do not open in school holidays however our neighbouring settings in Eccleshall and Haughton run holiday clubs in which you can book a place for your child

If your child is ill at nursery parents will be contacted. Dependent on how severe the illness we may ask you to collect your child or we may ask for permission for medicine

If you feel your child still needs a daytime sleep then staff will find a quiet place for them to rest

We can administer medication that has been supplied by parents as long as prior consent is given

If your child has an accident at nursery then an accident form is filled out on our communication app. If the accident is severe or any bump to the head will telephone parents immediatley

We aim for all staff to be first aid trained. There is always a first aider on site

All staff are DBS checked before they can work within the setting

You will be invoiced on the first of each month and the invoice has to be settled within 7 days. You can pay cash, bank transfer or childcare vouchers

To cancel any childcare you will be required to give 4 weeks written notice to the office

You can drop off and collect your child at anytime during the times of your allocated session but you must inform a member of staff if your going to be late in the morning or Early picking up

All staff and the cook will be made aware of your childs allergies. All food allergies will be prepped for accordingly within the kitchen. All staff have had allergy awareness training.

Yes however we cannot be responsible for any items from the home that get brought into the setting if lost or damaged.

 

FREE FUNDED SESSIONS

We offer FREE funded sessions to 2years of age (eligible for 2nd year funded place )
Plus, FREE funded sessions for all 3-4 years of age (15 hours plus extended 15 hours for those eligible)

FAMLY

Our free famly app helps keep you up to date by giving you the opportunity to view pictures and videos of your child’s daily activities. The App allows parents or guardians to have “real time” access to your nursery and monitor your childs progress. 

The Famly APP is available via the Apple Store or Google Play for FREE download, Contact your nursery team to provide access to your nursery.
